July 25, 2008. EarthSoft today announced its rapid growth continued in Q2 2008 with significant expansion in all product lines. In particular, software license sales more than tripled from Q2 2007. EQuIS Online, EarthSoft’s hosted product offering also signed up several new clients and several new projects with existing clients.
EarthSoft’s growing staff now numbers 35, with openings for several more. EarthSoft has significantly increased its Help Desk – which now consists of nine trained professionals (with more hires in process). EarthSoft has also increased its client services capabilities. The new Client Managment organization focuses on large clients requiring services. A recent comment from a client was: “Your Help Desk remains my favorite software support network ever.”
Over 500 EQuIS 5 Professional Licenses have been purchased since the product’s release in 2005. Sophisticated “Power Users” of EQuIS offer a paradigm shift with their ability to write custom queries and reports as well as sophisticated graphics using EQuIS. The EnviroInsite software, now included with EQuIS 5 Professional, dramatically increases the graphical power for hydrogeologists and other environmental professionals.
The new Sample Planning Module (SPM) from EarthSoft allows for the planning of future sampling events and supports a Completeness Checker, ensuring that all collected data were delivered. This “disruptive technology” is only one of several new products emerging from EarthSoft in 2008. Additional air, geotechnical, biological, limnological, and surface water data structures and applications are funded and under development.
New clients in Q2 2008 include EPA Region 7, Nassau County (Walden Environmental), Foth Environmental, Arcadis (UK), Ohio DOT, Black & Veatch, Worley Parsons Komex (Canada), and others. EarthSoft also announce this quarter a teaming agreement with Keynetix in the UK that should drive sales in Europe and jumpstart the geotechnical product line.
